いつもGlobalityのイベントにご参加いただき、ありがとうございます。
3月より、神奈川県の横浜中華街でイベントを開催することになりましたので、お知らせいたします。横浜中華街には観光で何度か訪れたことがありますが、非常に活気にあふれた街です。このような素敵な場所で言語交換イベントを開催できることを、大変嬉しく思います。
横浜でのイベント開催については、以前から多くのご要望をいただいておりました。また、神奈川県内、とりわけ横浜においては、言語交換イベントの数が少ないという声も伺っていました。これからは、Globalityも横浜の言語交換イベントを盛り上げる一員となりたいと考えています。
話は変わりますが、沖縄のイベントにはリピートを含め、多くの方にご参加いただいており、本当にありがたく、心から嬉しく思っています。一方、東京のイベントは、直近でやや盛り上がりが落ち着いてきた印象があります。東京は既に多くの言語交換イベントがあり、いわゆるレッドオーシャンの市場になっているのかもしれません。
言語交換イベントは世界中で開催されており、例えば中東の大都市ドバイでは、職業別の言語交換イベントや、特定のテーマで交流する言語交換イベントが開催されています。東京のような大都市でも、同様にテーマ特化型のイベントを展開していくのはどうかと考えており、「こんなイベントがあったら参加したい！」というご意見があれば、DMやコメントでぜひお聞かせください。

We’re happy to announce that starting in March, we’ll be hosting events in Yokohama Chinatown, Kanagawa. This area is lively and full of energy, and we’re excited to bring our language exchange events to such a vibrant and culturally rich place.
Many of you have requested events in Yokohama, and we’ve heard that there aren’t many language exchange events in Kanagawa, especially in Yokohama. We hope to help grow the language exchange community there and make it even more exciting together with you!
On another note, we’re very grateful that our Okinawa events have been attracting many participants, including repeat attendees. It’s been amazing to see so much enthusiasm! Meanwhile, we’ve noticed that our Tokyo events have been a bit quieter recently. Since there are already many language exchange events in Tokyo, it has become a highly competitive market, or what’s known as a “red ocean.”
Language exchange events happen all over the world. In big cities like Dubai, there are events designed for specific professions or interests. Since Tokyo is such a large and diverse city, we’re thinking about introducing more theme-based language exchange events. If you have any ideas for events you’d love to join, please let us know!
